CHAIR ENABLER
The Chair Enabler (next slide) is a Safety Device which is connected between the Chair and TCM. This Enabler automatically inserts it’s unique ID code and radio control frequency into the Chair’s command message to TCM-1G.
Since each Enabler contains a unique ID code (world-wide) it ensures that the Chair and TCM to which it is connected can control only one loader.
Each Enabler has a large label which clearly shows the RVU (loader) it’s meant to control. For example: RVU GB# 3256.
One of the TV screens in front of the operator constantly reminds him which LHD he is controlling by displaying: the type of loader, the loader’s plate number and the GB# of the Nautilus RVU installed on that loader. For example:

If the wrong Chair Enabler is connected, the AGS system will not operate and the TV screen will let the operator know that it is not the correct Enabler.
