Thumb Controller (TC) for Maclean Blockholer

The operator uses his thumbs to operate the low force Nautilus joysticks which explains why this unit is called the “Thumb Controller”.  The TC has the added benefit of 'Cruise Control' which makes driving any vehicle much easier and very relaxing for the operator.

The two stainless steel deadman buttons at the front of the TC are special "Zero Force" buttons which make it easy and comfortable for an operator to activate them for long periods.

Nautilus has created a new Thumb Controller (TC) Unit which is small, light, rugged and waterproof. The TC enclosure is only 25mm (1”) thick, 188mm (7.4”) wide, 102mm (4”) across and weighs in at 450 grams (1.2 lbs). The two joysticks (which stand only 25mm (1”) high) control 24 proportional functions on the Blockholer.

The LCD has a two line x 16 character display complete with an LED backlight which flashes automatically to attract the operator's attention whenever a warning message appears on the display.

The keypad buttons control 19 on/off functions on the Blockholer.
